Activities

From dances to picnics to campouts and other special activities—these events are put on by the Activities subcommittee. Activities like these can provide a greater sense of community for the local NA Fellowship and produce additional area income. Social activities can help addicts feel more comfortable in their local NA community and increase unity and camaraderie among area members.

Please also check the Events page for the Activities Committee Events. If you would like to submit an Activity Committee Event, please submit the info on the Events page.

Volunteers to help serve in this way are ALWAYS needed!

To learn more, attend one of our Activities subcommittee meetings.

Check the Events Calendar or Schedule for meeting time and location.

Hospitals and Institutions

The purpose of an H&I meeting is to carry the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular Narcotics Anonymous meetings. H&I meetings/presentations, except for those in longer term facilities, are intended to simply introduce those attending to some of the basics of the NA program.

Volunteers to help serve in this way are ALWAYS needed!

To learn more, attend one of our H&I program orientations.

Check the Events Calendar for this subcommittee’s meeting time and location.

Public Relations

The Narcotics Anonymous message is “that an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live.” Our relations with the public enable us to share this message broadly so that those who might benefit from our program of recovery can find us. We perform public relations service to increase the awareness and credibility of the NA program. We share our message openly with the public at large, with prospective members, and with professionals. Maintaining an open, attractive attitude in these efforts helps us to create and improve relationships with those outside the fellowship. Establishing and maintaining a commitment to these relationships, can help us to further our primary purpose.

Volunteers to help serve in this way are ALWAYS needed!
